1. Choose the currency you have
Open the Lineium website converter. In the From field, select the currency of the amount you’re entering.
For a price listed in euros, choose EUR. The From currency describes the original amount, even if it isn’t the currency you normally use at home.
2. Enter the amount
Replace the starting number with the price you want to check. Enter the numeric amount without a currency symbol or a thousands separator. For a first test, use a whole number such as 25.
3. Choose the result currency
In To, select the currency you want to see. If you want to understand a euro price in US dollars, your pair should read EUR in From and USD in To.
The result updates when rates have loaded. You don’t need a separate calculate button.
4. Read the result and the rate separately
The large number is your converted amount. The smaller equation shows the equivalent of one unit of the From currency. The update label shows the date supplied with the rate data.
For example, at an invented rate of 1 EUR = 1.20 USD, entering 25 EUR gives 30 USD. That’s an arithmetic example, not a current quote.
5. Copy with context
Use Copy to copy the displayed result. When sharing it, also write the original amount, original currency, and date. That makes the estimate easier to understand later.
If rates don’t load, check your connection and reload the page. This website tutorial requires internet access; the Android app’s cached rate feature is covered in our offline guide.
A conversion is a reference estimate. Your payment provider may apply a different rate or additional fees. Ready to try? Open the converter.
